Skin Barrier 101: How to Repair It and Glow Up with Seed Oils

Hello Beautiful,

Great skin doesn't happen by chance.

Modern-day lifestyle shifts have undermined this ecosystem, making it less diverse and leaving us more susceptible to many challenges including sensitivity, irritation and other skin problems.

To reverse this, we need to embrace the skin for the living ecosystem it is and help it reconnect with the balanced state that it once had.

This is why it's my mission to create products that enhance and protect the biorhythms of the dermis and the skin biome. I believe restoring and maintaining is the answer to healthy skin and a great first step to healthier aging.

It's also critical to understand the core needs of the skin and the most efficient path of delivery - so starting at the very top layer of the skin -

Were going to discuss how to improve hydration by providing it with lipids.

Basically, lipids help strengthen the skin’s protective barrier which helps it retain moisture and keep out impurities. Lipids also play an important role in protecting skin from environmental stressors and free radical damage that can lead to premature aging.

SEED OILS AND BARRIER REPAIR 101

It may not look like it on the surface, but your skin is constantly hard at work; the toughest job, though, is of the uppermost layer, the skin barrier.

Much like a security guard for your skin, the barrier is there to stop potential problems passing through and to protect what lies within - and it’s the weakness of this shield that is the underlying cause of aging and sensitive skin.

A thin, weak or damaged skin barrier allows irritants in, deepens fine lines and small micro-tears, so building up this surface layer is key to reducing degradation- long term.

Here’s Some Quick Facts on Your Skin’s Makeup

The stratum corneum is the outermost part of our epidermis

It’s a vital front-line, protecting us against the perils of the environment
Your skin barrier weakens with age.

We’re born with a body composed of 75% water, and we dry up as we get older.

50% of your cell membranes are made up of fats or lipids

This outermost layer consists of dead skin cells called corneocytes.

These corneocytes are embedded in a lipid mixture consisting of ceramides, cholesterol, and fatty acids.

So NET NET:   A lack of oils results in dry, unbalanced, dull looking skin.

Imagine the image of a dehydrated raisin versus a plump grape

1. GO BACK TO BASICS

Keep it simple for effective, nurturing skincare. Take a long, hard look at your beauty practices –and products by pairing your routine.

Get rid of products with astringents, like alcohol and witch hazel. And avoid foaming cleansers, which leach away our Natural Moisturising Factor.

The number of clients I see that have a rise in sensitivities is growing so I created a scent free and surfactant free cleanser brimming full of omegas, skin-brightening vitamin C-esters, healing plant hydrosols, and botanicals to help gently purify the skin and stimulate cellular turnover to deliver brighter skin

+Evoq Gentle Cleanser

2. NO HARSH MECHANICAL SCRUBS

I recommend cutting right back on physical exfoliation – so many women are using brushes and cleansing cloths too harsh for their skin-type and developing problems as a consequence.

In addition, be aware that as you age, the skin's regenerative production decreases, so over use of retinol and harsh procedures do more harm than good long term.

I figured I would support women in their multi tasking abilities with our sea pearl cleansing mask which has Exfoliating Pearls to Renew skin clarity by gently lifting and removing stagnant skin cells.

Then following up with Laminaria + Spirulina which Strengthens connective tissue while hydrating with Omega-3 Fatty Acids and amino acids to help reduce dark spots and soothe inflamed skin conditions.

+ Evoq Sea Pearl 3 in 1 Exfoliation

3. SHOP FOR THE RIGHT INGREDIENTS

As always with aging or sensitive skin issues, reading the labels of your products is a must to make sure you’re getting the building blocks you need.

All Evoq moisturizers include cold pressed oils and Vitamin C Ester, which is a biomimetic liposome to help boost collagen and  ceramide production, thereby improving lipid barrier function. .

This is key  because we can’t manufacture essential fatty acids ourselves, so we must obtain it through diet or topical application.

4. MIND YOUR PH

Detergents (eg. Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) are my biggest no-no.

They strip the skin of its natural oils, leaving the barrier dry, exposed and susceptible to irritation.

They also have an alkalising effect on the skin, throwing off pH balance and disrupting the skin's natural processes.

“Active” acids, like salicylic acid for example, should also be avoided because they  remove the top layers of skin.

  • Evoq Enliven Sea Mist Toner - Encompasses Purified Sea Water which Immediately infuses skin with essential minerals and trace elements that provide soft, glowing, and healthy skin.

5. KEEP IT COOL

Cleanse with tepid water and don’t put your face under the shower - hot water will only strip the skin, just like it does to your hair.

6. BE FREE FROM RADICALS

It’s not just about building the barrier up - you also need the ingredients that will minimize any incoming stressors to look after it in the long run.

Protecting against free radical damage can help maintain a strong skin barrier, so at Evoq, I've studied with the leading experts on how to energize certain antioxidants to 10x their effects which you can find in the Evoq Ultra Hydrating Oil.

TOP SHELF SOLUTION: ULTRA-HYDRATING ANTIOXIDANT OIL

Our clinically-studied complex brings advanced free radical squelching abilities with enzymatic help to prevent and repair damage to DNA and proteins (like collagen and elastin), allowing skin cells to live a longer, healthier, more beautiful life.

I’ve addressed both intrinsic and extrinsic aging factors with THIS Matchmaker oil.

By using biomimetic cold-pressed oils, your skin is infused with vital vitamins, nutrients, and fatty acids that act both as protectants from extrinsic aging but also work to slow down and prevent intrinsic aging factors by stimulating collagen production and rehydrating skin.

7. STRESS-LESS

Building up your barrier is not as simple as using the right skincare; think of it in the same way as you do your immune system - you need to feed its strength from all angles, mentally and physically.

Your skin is your biggest organ and needs to be looked after from the inside and out.

AS WITHIN - SO WITHOUT…. Stress is proven to slow down the skin healing process, including skin barrier recovery.

So, daily stress or poor stress management can leave the skin barrier in a permanently weakened state and accelerated aging.

8. SUPPLEMENT YOUR DIET

Essential fatty acids or omegas are essential as a supplement.

They’re anti-inflammatory and help calm the skin or soothe aggravating conditions from the inside out.

Odds are most people are abundant in omega 6 which can actually be pro inflammatory so you want to look for a 3 to 1 ratio of omega 3.

Omega fatty acids also help prevent water loss that can lead to irritation and discomfort. I take an oil form straight from the spoon, and always store mine in the fridge to keep it at its best. EFAs are very fragile and prone to oxidizing.

9. YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT

The healthier you are generally, the better your skin will be.

Tying into supplementation - eating omega-rich foods such as cold-water fish, flaxseed and walnuts will eventually find their way to the surface of the skin.

It’s about making every cell in the body as healthy as possible.

10. WEAR SUNSCREEN

90 percent of aging is from uv damage - therefore one of the easiest ways to protect your skin’s barrier is by wearing a daily SPF - but just like the rest of your skincare, it should be full of those antioxidants too so that as well as defending your skin against the sun’s damaging rays, it also adds protection from other environmental stressors.

Not only did I formulate the Evoq Day Lite UV protect SPF tinted moisturizer  with antioxidants,  I also included an active form of Vitamin D, which is a needed cofactor hormone for health and immunity

++Evoq Day Lite UV Primer

In conclusion :

SET HEALTHY [SKIN] BARRIERS

We now know that Free radicals accelerate the aging process and we encounter them everyday through sun exposure, air pollution, and stress.

By feeding skin essential fatty acids, antioxidants, and other skin-supportive nutrients, you prevent and repair free radical damage, so your skin stays firm, smooth, and bright.

Therefore I highly suggest internal health supplementation and the antioxidant topical ultra Hydrating oil to negate the inevitable Dehydration due to a slowly degrading lipid layer and outer aggressors that accentuate aging signs of fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots.

Five Key Benefits of Self Love through Lymphatic Facial Massage

Five Key Benefits of Self Love through Lymphatic Facial Massage

1.) Deep cleanse

Lymphatic facials provide a deep cleanse of the skin. When carried out in conjunction with the use of gentle cleansing products- specially formulated for aging skin, results are believed to be significantly improved.

2.) Accelerated healing

Lymphatic massage helps to stimulate the flow of lymphatic fluid throughout the body, which has been designed to effectively move any unwanted toxins towards lymph nodes where they are removed.

The gentle movements used throughout the massage help to prevent blockages and bring oxygen and nutrients to the cells. When carried out with anti-inflammatory products such as ourOil Free Serum, visible benefits can be seen immediately.

3.) Reduced puffiness

As a gentle facial massage, lymphatic drainage can help retain a clear complexion and reduce puffiness due to its ability to disperse congestion, which may have been caused by irritants in cosmetics, illness, allergies or overindulgence in inflammatory foods.

Through a series of gentle and rhythmical movements - toxins will be moved to the lymph nodes and removed by the body.

4.) Congestion free skin

If our bodies become overly stressed or are subjected to environmental pollutants on a regular basis, the lymphatic system can become over saturated leading to an unwanted build up of toxins in the tissues, skin and joints.

Regular lymphatic self-massage can help to keep the lymph system flowing freely and aid with the removal of dead cells from the surface of the

5.) Promotes the feeling of relaxation and wellbeing

As a non-invasive treatment which is both gentle and therapeutic, lymphatic facial massage is extremely relaxing. It promotes feelings of wellbeing while reducing anxiety and stress.

Choosing the Right Type of Vitamin C For Brighter Skin Results

Hola, and welcome beautiful FALL BREEZE!

Fall is a great time to support yourself in the renewal taking place in and around you.

The lymphatic system and your skin are working hard to slough off the layers of stagnant skin.

Don’t have time in these cray cray times to book a facial?

I HEAR YOU, so let's chat real quick about the best two part skin ritual to add right now as we transition seasons.

I know, in a new age of beauty, women like you want to know what's in the bottle and that it meets the standards of being solution based and effective.

As a product formulator, I love the science of skin care ingredients, and today I'm briefing VITAMIN C - and what to look for.

Because it’s damn confusing out there - and I can almost guarantee - many women are over-paying for their brightening solutions.

Face it, research studies find it's helpful in some ways, but also VERY
OVER-HYPED in other ways.

Here we GLOW >>>

IMG-0880.JPG

Vitamin C - The debrief.

First thing first.

Before you reach for any product, make sure you're getting the BIG C in your diet!

Our body and skin have certain enzymes such as superoxide dismutase and glutathione peroxidase. These protective systems also include plenty of antioxidants, including vitamins C and E.

As these antioxidants are constantly being used up, they're also constantly needing replenishment: the foods that you eat provide a consistent supply of these important chemicals.  (That's why the antioxidants in your food are so critical to healthy skin.)

These foods make their way from your digestive system, to your blood supply, and from there to the tiny blood vessels that supply your skin. They then diffuse into the epidermis and dermis, where they protect your skin from free radicals.

That's the "inside-out" approach, now here's the critical part to know when applying vitamin C to the outer.

The Proper Vit C Formulation Is Critical

Just because it contains vitamin C, doesn't mean that it will be effective.

FACT ONE:
Vitamin C is a water-soluble molecule, and …

FACT TWO:
your skin barrier is meant to repel water.

This is why I invest in cell deep LIPOSOMAL Vitamin C Ester in each Evoq formula.  These are fatty acids that are bioavailable to enter your cellular matrix for high efficacy and performance.

Why Fatty?

Great question!

Vitamin C is a sure bet to quickly oxidize.

In the presence of light, heat, and even oxygen, vitamin C quickly starts to destabilize, turning your high price investment into something far less effective.

IN FACT, some researchers are even concerned that an unstable vitamin C molecule can actually create MORE skin damage.

So, how do you protect your invested
Vit-C?

  1. Opt in for lipid based vitamin C.

2. Then, make sure the product is protected from light, heat, and oxygen.

Get naturally BRIGHTER in just TWO STEPS
Exfoliate and Renew with Evoq

Unlike most exfoliation products on the market, Evoq's Sea Pearl Polish will not damage delicate capillaries and pores and is completely safe to use on a daily basis if needed.  I took rich sea pearls and incorporated them into a blend of isotonic sea water, food grade algae  and aloe vera gel to help soothe and protect the skin.

FYI: Abrasive walnut and apricot exfoliators tear the skin, leaving your barrier leaking it's hydration and damaged over time.

Simply mask for 5-10 minutes, then gently scrub with your fingertips in a circular motion and to let the rich algae base do the work – in other words, no need to exert a lot of pressure. RINSE!

Brighten and Glow with Evoq’s
O2 & Vit C Serum

With just a few drops, restore firmness and reveal glowing skin with Vitamin C Esters that repair cells, brighten dullness, and eliminate dark spots.

High Performance Ingredients

Botanical Stem Cells of Narcissus and Madonna Lily- Reduce skin discoloration by inhibiting the transfer of melanosomes, which can create dark spots.

Vitamin C Esters- Gently brighten skin to reduce dark spots and scars, and regulates oil production.

Liquid Oxygen(Perfluorodecalin)- Decreases the look of fine lines and wrinkles by increasing skin’s volume.

HOW EVOQ SKINCARE IS DIFFERENT

ORGANIC + BIOAVAILABLE  + BIOMIMETIC

Due to the mineral content and weight being identical to the human skin and blood - algae is amongst the most compatible ingredients, allowing all layers of the dermis to readily absorb high concentrations of magnesium, potassium, calcium and essential protein chains to plump and boost collagen and firm and prevent wrinkles.  Be proactive and preventative - It’s worth every drop - your skin will be left fresh, dewy, and renewed.

🏋🏻‍♀️ Does Face Yoga Build Muscle Structure for Ant-Aging? [busted]

Do you need to exercise your face? 🏋🏻‍♀️

There are endless tactics to defy aging on the market, and for all you holistic gals, you may have seen inference to face exercises or ‘face yoga’ as the trendy new way to strengthen the muscles of your face to help fight the signs of aging (like sagging jowls and wrinkles).

Does it work? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀ I research and deliver evidence-based beauty and so the first thing to say is that there are no scientific studies to verify the claims that these sorts of face workouts are effective. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Screen Shot 2020-07-15 at 9.47.02 AM.png

Therefore, my professional opinion on this is going to be based on the first principles combined with logic. ⠀⠀

Can doing facial exercises actually ‘build’ the muscles of the face? We know that muscle growth comes about from damage of the muscle via active use – like weight-lifting in the gym. The damage induced stimulates a whole host of responses which culminate in the muscle becoming bigger and stronger.

If you have ever tried to put on noticeable muscle mass in the gym, you will know that this is actually a lot more difficult to achieve then it sounds and even with meticulous attention to lifestyle, diet and workout planning, one can and should only expect small gains to be made over time.

katy 2.jpg

Facial yoga does not involve any weight-bearing and, even though these are small muscles, they would still require a decent enough stimulus to initiate the muscle growing process. So based on this I would suggest that no, facial exercises cannot build muscles in the face. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I think we need to ask...why would we want to enlarge the muscles of your face? I think a more realistic question is: Is muscle atrophy what causes the signs of aging? Loss of muscle as we age is a natural part of aging and certainly, some of that occurs in the face but the aging face is due to an interplay of many factors like fat loss, loss of collagen and elastin in the dermis of the skin and changes to the epidermis. ⠀

Though facial exercises are certainly not harmful and may create blood flow - it is very unlikely to bring about significant, noticeable changes to your skin or facial structure. What IS a great alternative that is none invasive and studied? Microcurrent. Microcurrent devices tone and tighten skin using bioenergetic technology, which is non-surgical.

It increases levels of ATP to speed cellular metabolism, stimulates protein synthesis, promote detoxification and reconstitute collagen and elastin.

The ultimate visible benefits for your skin will be present in decreased fine lines and wrinkles and plumped up facial muscles with increased blood circulation, and reduced jowls and double chin.

If you are interested in learning more about none invasive skin health tools, please reach out - as it's all too confusing to do on your own. Cheers! xo - Kassandra

How to Choose a Moisturizer: Is Oily Skin the thirstiest of them all?

Let’s talk one of the most basic aspects to good skin care: moisturizer.

HYDRATION + MOISTURE + SUPPLE SKIN!

_E4A8295.jpg

Tell me pretty lady, have you asked yourself these questions?

Why does some moisturizer break me out while other moisturizers seem to do nothing, no matter how much or how often I apply it?

While I’m not a HUGE believer in skin types the way traditional skincare sites give, I do know that this conversation does come down to the nature of your skin.

The goal is to understand when to use an oil or a moisturizer - and using a moisturizer that works with your skin or against your skin.

SIMPLIFYING HYDRATION

Did you know that there are 2 main types of moisturizers that work in different ways to hydrate your skin?

There are water-based and oil-based moisturizers (Ie: a balm, ointment or serum). Water-based moisturizers pull water into your skin while oil-based moisturizers prevent water from evaporating from your skin.

The product you’ll want will depend on your unique skin.

For instance:

If you have dry skin, you will want a water-based moisturizer to infuse your skin with deep hydration.

If you live in a dry environment, you’ll want an oil-based product since it prevents water from evaporating from your skin.

And if you have dry skin and live in a dry environment? You’ll need a water-based and oil-based moisturizer! I personally always combine them both due to the different molecular weights and nutrient values.

Most women pick the wrong moisturizer because they simply don’t know what type of skin they have or their skin is always changing.

All too often I hear people with oily skin saying they do NOT have dry skin.

GET THIS…… this may be technically true, but did you know that oily skin is the type that thirsts for water the most?

You heard it right: Oily skin is so very thirsty that it produces extra amounts of oil to prevent more water from evaporating! It is desperate to hold on to the moisture it does have—and wiping oil off your face only makes the situation worse since signals your skin to produce more and more and more oil—it’s a vicious cycle!

The only effective way to reduce the oil of oily skin is to give your skin the moisture it craves!!!

Head on over to EVOQ to discover our serums and 2 moisturizers.

CORTISOL: THE LOW DOWN ON STRESS, AGING & FREQUENCY

cd.gif

Cortisol is in charge of your bodies response to stress. ⠀

In healthy adults, cortisol is at its highest in the morning, giving you the drive and energy to begin another internal cycle within the body at the start of a new day. It is also released whilst we exercise. Well balanced cortisol levels are vital for basic human survival, but when these levels fall out of whack it can have unfavourable side effects.

Cortisol is a natural steroid hormone created in the adrenal glands, where it then gets into the bloodstream and travels around the rest of your body.

Due to the very nature of the hormone and the fact that there are cortisol receptors within most of your body cells, it can effect everything: Skin, temperature, blood pressure, appetite, memory processes and many other things. Too much cortisol can overload natural body processes, and cause inflammation.

 Stress & Your Skin
Stress causes a chemical response in your body that makes skin more sensitive and reactive. This is mainly down to cortisol preventing the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation, and we all know what unwanted issues chronic inflammation can bring. ⠀

High levels of perceived stress and increases in cortisol have been found to lengthen the wound-healing time in healthy adults. It also interferes with the testosterone pathway, making sebum sticky and therefore more likely to trap any bacteria build-up in the pores and cause breakouts.

Your emotions and mental health are so closely connected to your skin and in order to try to keep those levels of inflammation down, its important to take note of what might be causing those cortisol levels to rise, as well as looking into any topical treatments or products. ⠀

Stress is proven to weaken the immune system, which is essential to keeping us healthy! The stress hormone, corticosteroid, suppress the immune function so that our infection-fighting white blood cells are less able to battle the antigens that enter our body. So, you may notice in particularly stressful times that you’re more prone to getting a sniffly nose or adrenal fatigue.

The body’s response to stress increases your heart rate. The stress hormone, adrenaline, that’s triggered by the natural “fight or flight” response, causes the heart to beat faster and blood pressure to increase. So, constant stress puts your internal self into overload –damaging effects on your health, skin and hair, too!

HOW STRESS AFFECTS YOUR SKIN HEALTH

skin vibes.gif

ACNE

There are a few reasons why you might notice breakouts on your skin, whether that be in the form of acne, psoriasis or eczema. The release of the stress hormone, Cortisol, throws your other hormones off balance, causing imperfections to appear on the skin. Stress can also affect your gut, by outweighing the good and bad bacteria that sits in it. Uneven bacteria in the gut can cause rashes and hives, as well as unwanted pimples.

There’s the added factor of diet when you’re experiencing stress. When working long hours, it’s not uncommon for you to choose quick and easy food, as well as energy drinks or coffee to keep you going. These dietary choices can show up as pimples and blemishes on the skin, and exacerbate existing skin conditions.

UNDER EYE BAGS

Under-eye bags are far from ideal – they make you look tired and ill, and there’s only so much concealer you can cover them with. When you’re experiencing stress or burnout, there’s a high chance that you’re lacking the sleep you need, which in turn makes you feel more stressed. Sleep deprivation results in higher levels of Cortisol itself, so it antagonizes the body even more!

Bags under the eyes are caused by the pooling of fluid to the area around the eyes, and the best way to fix them is by getting more sleep and staying hydrated. You can also apply serums, which can improve the appearance of under-eye bags. Evoq’s Eye and Lip Cream is proven to encourage the renewal of skin health, reduced inflammation and stagnation and tighten and hydrate the skin so it looks firmer.

DARK CIRCLES

When we are stressed, we can actually break the fragile and vulnerable capillaries under your eyes. The blood can leak into the epidermis and become oxidized, which will result in a dark purple hue and a discoloration of the skin, creating the dark circles – giving that tired appearance.

Not only this but when your body is dealing with stress, blood will be distributed to different, more important areas of the body, which doesn’t include the face and skin. The more stress your body is under, the more likely you are to look pale and drained as the blood is focused on the organs; making sure they keep working correctly. This, in turn, will make the appearance of dark circles more noticeable against the paler skin.

DRY FLAKES & FINE LINES

When we are stressed, our body can react in different ways. We may feel more emotional, lose our appetite, experience mood swings or it can affect our sleep – resulting in difficulty to function throughout the day.

This is when the fine lines and wrinkles can form as a result of your body choosing to produce more cortisol. This stress hormone has been known to break down collagen in your skin, so the more stressed you are, the more the hormone will attack your skin regeneration, resulting in a few new fine lines and wrinkles.

With lack of sleep, you will begin to show signs of fatigue; Fine lines and wrinkles will appear as the elasticity weakens, with your eyes falling victim first.

Dehydration can be dangerous for your inner organs as well as your skin, which is itself an organ. Hydration is a key factor in the body’s production of collagen, which is what keeps your skin looking bright, youthful and plump. Without collagen, wrinkles and fine lines are more visible, and skin may start to sag.

Staying hydrated will also keep your skin from looking dry and flaky – you should moisturize on the outside and stay hydrated on the inside to avoid dry skin! Try Evoq’s Ultra hydrating Youth Renew Oil or Pro-Collagen Cream for full-face hydration – taking the time to quiet your mind and relaxation time you need!

HOW IT AFFECTS HAIR HEALTH

Stress has been linked to hair loss and thinning, but the causes could differ! The same way stress can damage the appearance and feel of your skin, it can also be detrimental to the health of your hair.

HAIR LOSS

There are three stages to the hair growth process: The Anagen stage (growth), the Catagen stage (transition), and the Telogen stage (rest). Stress can trigger what’s known as Telogen effluvium, which occurs when the hair growth cycle stops at the Telogen stage, and the follicles don’t grow any new hairs.

Telogen effluvium is a reversible condition and is just a temporary disturbance to the cycle. With changes to lifestyle, you can stop it.

Alopecia areata is a condition where the immune system attacks the hair follicles, causing patches of hair to fall out at one time. It’s often associated with experiencing high levels of stress for an extended period. The cause of it is likely to be a weakened immune system, so once you lower stress levels, the hair will stop falling out and in most cases grow back.

If you are experiencing hair thinning, try the powerful Root Revival Hair Health program. It’s proven to promote hair growth using actives that strengthens hair and encourages high cell turnover for new hairs to grow. So powerful, its two times stronger than minoxidil.

Not to forget all negative thoughts low in frequency literally dump maladaptive frequencies and stress producing hormones your body - effecting your health by lowering your immune system.

Is meditation or a cup of hot caffeine free herbal tea calling you?

I can guess you’ve probably purchased some coconut oil and slabbed it on your skin, thinking you’re getting the best and (cheap) skin benefit from this oil! OH NO HONEY, think again.

As a skincare creator, I absolutely understand the attraction to DIY products and keeping things simple. First off, our skin needs moisturizers to help prevent water loss. This is especially important for dry skin, dermatitis, aging and many other skin conditions.

I know it seems unavoidable since coconut oil is one (of many) natural oils that is often used as a moisturizer and seen as a miracle for everything! Just ask google. But the truth is, when applied to your skin, coconut oil can make your skin worse.

Don’t get me wrong I certainly use coconut oil in a myriad of ways! In this episode we’ll break down the top 3 ways coconut may make your skin worse in the long run and a bonus of what DIY oils to choose and a “Done For You option” I’ve developed and is found on Evoqbeauty.com

Enjoy, and let me know your thoughts!
